Case Study/B2B SaaS/60 Days

How Bustem grew
organic clicks
702% in sixty days.

A B2B SaaS that hit $1M ARR in its first sixty days had everything except SEO. Fragmented across .co and .com domains, indexation broken, backlinks pointing to dead URLs. We consolidated, fixed and rebuilt — and traffic compounded.

The challenge.

Bustem hit $1M ARR in sixty days through paid and outbound. But behind the scenes, SEO was a mess — a recent .co to .com migration had fragmented authority, broken indexation, and left valuable backlinks pointing to dead URLs. Brand search was confused, technical signals were broken, and SEO was contributing almost nothing.

— 02

The approach.

Three buckets — consolidate, repair, fortify — executed in sequence over sixty days.

PILLAR 01

Domain consolidation.

Unified all variants under one canonical domain with single-hop 301 redirects. Backlink value recovered, brand identity unified.

PILLAR 02

Technical repair.

Fixed SSL, eliminated redirect chains, restored canonical tags, resubmitted sitemap, cleared duplicate content flags.

PILLAR 03

Structural SEO.

Added breadcrumbs, fixed heading hierarchy, built an About page for EEAT, implemented JSON-LD schema across the site.

PILLAR 04

External consistency.

Standardized NAP across all social profiles and citations. Single canonical domain referenced everywhere.

— 03

What we actually did.

Ten specific moves, executed in sequence.

3.1

Domain consolidation.

Unified .co, .com, www and non-www under a single secure canonical: https://bustem.com. Single-hop 301 redirects mapped from every variant. Backlink equity from the legacy .co domain recovered immediately.

3.2

SSL & HTTPS cleanup.

Installed proper SSL certificates, enabled Full SSL mode in Cloudflare, enforced HTTPS at the edge. The 525 handshake errors that were breaking crawl access and conversion went to zero.

3.3

Redirect hygiene.

Mapped every redirect chain into a single hop. Verified the new map with httpstatus.io to confirm no chained redirects remained anywhere on the site.

3.4

Canonical & sitemap.

Updated canonical tags site-wide to .com. Generated and submitted a clean XML sitemap to Google Search Console. Indexation gaps closed within days.

3.5

Backlink recovery.

The 301 redirect map ensured every legacy .co backlink passed full SEO value to its .com equivalent. No outreach required — the equity was already there.

3.6

Structural SEO.

Added breadcrumb navigation across the site. Reorganized heading structure (one H1 per page, clean H2/H3 hierarchy). Built a dedicated About page to strengthen EEAT signals.

3.7

Schema implementation.

Added JSON-LD schema for Organization, WebSite, WebPage and BreadcrumbList. Each page now communicates its purpose to search engines explicitly.

3.8

External consistency.

Audited and updated all social media profiles, directory listings and external citations to point to bustem.com. The brand's online footprint became unified for the first time.
